I recently went to NFMS and found myself spending a lot of time at the Fendt booth. I was already considering upgrading my CX100 Case for a new machine, but I certainly wasn't thing of a Fendt. Until now, I'm curious if any of you run Fendt machines, if you do, do you like them? I'm looking at a Vario 312 primarily. My biggest concern is dealer support. My nearest dealer is 40 minutes away, and I don't have the means to haul a machine to them. I run a fairly small operation raising longhorns (around 40 head) and performance reining and roping horses. I'm not concerned about the cost of these machines, just the long term reliability as I'm not the type to trade machines regularly. This would be replacing my primary machine (putting out bales, cutting hay, baling, ect.) Any input would be great. Thanks!

I had a Valtra tractor which I think is very similar in quality to a Fendt. They are great tractors but dealer support was my concern as well.
I have 5 JD dealers within 100 miles as well as a parts depo I'm not sure where the closest Valtra dealer is anymore.

That's the situation I'm in, we have plenty of dealer support for Case, Kubota, and Deere. My expectation would be that for the first few years it wouldn't need many dealer visits aside from typical maintenance. But after that is where I become weary.

Fendt is known to be the Cadillac of tractors. I would consider a dealer 40 minutes away to be a close neighbour.
