Had Eye surgery the 3rd. pulled a stich the 6tgh, Doctor said just keep it covered with the medicated salve and Vaseline. Like any surgery no lifting. Sue kept me house bound. She fixed a stack yard fence for when 5 trains of hay, ever make it here. Only feeding the bulls and replacement and 2calves in a lot with a concrete water. got a night light so we can see if heater in it is working, or go reset the GFI. Bull got a tank on a red head that gets topped off every day and has a Torgan heater on it. Cow back on a pasture that has long draws and high bluff, and one corner with some cotton woods for cover. They got scattered 20% protein and fat tubs, that the cows been eating slow. They got a tire tank with a Torgan heater, she had to replace the 100lb propane tank once. We been hauling off a solar well little over 1/2 mile, pump will load 900 gallons in less the ten minutes. but last few day not enough sun so bring the trailer home and just under 2 hr too fill. Wed, she was opening the gate into the cow pasture and thought she heard a rifle shot. Back tire blew on the flat bed. Old spilt rim, so got 2 new rims and tires ordered from Kruters(only thing close to the ranch, good shop both cars, trucks and Ag equip mechanics, only 5 miles down the road, great for hydraulic hoses) . Got Eye Doctors appoint wed, hay not here yet, and betting The Doctor going to redo the right eye, so that be another 2 weeks in the house, but we will see said the blind man as he stuck his wooden leg out the window while driving down the road. Yeah my stigmatism and glasses don't always let me see clearly.

What type of eye surgery ?

How is your weather ? On the coast we get a few days of winter, then a few days of warm sunny spring/early summer type weather.

Hope you get your eye fixed up properly, being house bound is no fun,
Seems like a person is always waiting on hay trucks.

Winter came in here with a vengeance, beautiful fall until it wasn't. Had 8-10 inches of snow and it's gotten quite cold. Cows are still in the hills as the snow is still soft but this week we are to get warm and will probably crust the snow up.
The joys of ranching.

wanted a breast augmentation, so they lifted my eyelids, simple quick, longer prep time and recovery then the surgery. they anesthetize you but Leave you still some what awake . The Lidocaine shot into my eye lids felt like they were using a 16 gauge needle. They pull up a muscle-tendon. Look like Sue took a crow bar to me for better then a week. I pulled stich out on right eye after 3 days, been keeping medicated salve and Vaseline on my eye lids. Stiches come out of left eye wed. Got a feeling they might need to do my right eye again, wait and see.

A 16 gauge needle and a crow bar, so much for medical advancements. 🤔
Hope it doesn't take to long to get this all straightened out.
