Well I am back, didn't have to file the civil lawsuit because as of Jan 20th he packed up & left. Another property owner let me know that heard about him selling. So I did a little looking on the internet & I found all the paperwork. One of the property owners took him to court for him not to be able to lock the gate. He didn't like us leaving the gate open because that meant he had to be inconvenienced to come and shut it himself.

After a month he figure if he put in a automatic gate opener it would shut behind us. And he made it that we would have to get out of our vehicles park far enough back so the gate would not hit the cars we had to go in front of our cars go to the keypad right in front of the camera and we had to find the code that he wrote on a sign so we could open the gate to get out. At the hearing he had his ash handed to him by the judge because he kept interrupting the lawyer that was representing my neighbor. The judge wanted him to purchase 10 remotes for the time being & he agreed to that. The first thing he did when he left the hearing was get down to the gate & he disconnected the gate opener so then we had to manulally open the gate he wanted to make it so we had to open it & close it.

Well I did not get back out of my car & go back to close it. That went on for 3 weeks, it kept texting my husband telling him I was in contempt of court & I was under oath he was going to let the judge know all this. Well I was just there to observe I never was sworn in or called as a witness.. They go back back for a status hearing on March 17th. My neighbor that is when she will let the judge know to have it all removed. I put grocery bags over the cameras & they are still there. We are very glad he is gone.
Gate problem is not a problem any longer.

Sounds like the "problem" went away.. That sounds better than hearing someone say "I've out lived some of my problems".

Glad it ended well for you and your neighbors. He will cause problems wherever he goes. Like the rancher that bought a new ranch and was talking to a neighboring rancher. He asked how people were in the neighborhood. The established rancher asked how they were where he lived before. The new guy replied "oh they were awful." The established rancher then said, "that's what you will find them to be here, then."
