I wasn't around to ask vet.

This is the first year we've pelvic measured heifers. And I always thought there was just one measurement in cm. But the vet did two measurements which I take it as inches. Say for example 14.5 and 14. Can anyone explain this to me please?

I have a friend who rents bulls every year. I believe he pays around $1500-$1600 per bull for around 90 days of service.

Yeah, the cows are on mineral tubs all winter. And a couple months before calving we switch over to bio-moss tubs. Not sure how it started but it spread like fire throughtout both calving pastures. I have treated well over 100 calves this spring. I've never been fond of tubing calves but a guy...

What do you guy's know about crypto scours? We had it this spring for the first time ever. I'm just wondering where it came from or how it got started on the place? I know it's nothing I ever want to experience again.

Wanted to ask you guys on here a question. I had a set of twins, one was a bull, and one was a heifer. My question is is that heifer able to be bred? I thought I heard that if you had a set of twins and if one was a bull and one a heifer the heifer is sterile. Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a palpating school in the SD,ND, or MN area?

I thought about AI'ing some heifers to the Counselor bull and the Special Focus bull. I haven't seen any calves out of either them or have alot info either. Your thoughts on calving ease, performance, and anything else. Thanks

Here in NE SD pairs are running any where from $3000 to $3500 that's heifers to broken mouth
