And thank you also. We can't stop Brazilian beef from coming into this country, it already has been for over a hundred years. The biggest threat now, to the US and Canadian cattle industry is XL.

The answer to your question is NO individual ranchers can't "slow process" enough cattle to serve the needs of the US population!
I do believe though, that a producer organization, could!
Maxine, can you remember when a radio was a luxury, or a pee-pot in the winter when all you had was an outdoor toilet, now that was a real luxury. Every generation has had more luxuries than the generation before them, and we were not poor.
