    Range cubes

Rightwinger82 i see you are looking at Mcness Cubes. Have you ever considered Mcness Ruffage Mate? Its a 52% protein mineral with 14% of the protein from urea and you can get by with feeding around .5#/hd/day, thin cows maybe a littel more, we have never fed more than .75# though even on old...

Feeding & storing wet or modified distillers

Have done it before in August. Ground straw 12 to 15% and the rest wet distillers. Mixed in a Rotomix then dumped out and packed. Very labor intensive. Felt like i wore everything out twice doing it. Positives: Price. Feed is all at the place and ready to be fed instead of cooridnating loads...

    Hucksters vs Hawkeyes

Wow, been awhile since I have had time to post. I see Mike hasn't changed, hell he knows more about Nebraska than Tom Osborne. And I see Jigs has cooled his jets a little but who wouldn't when your teams greatest coach of all time can still only manage a .500 season. And for Loomixguy thank you...

    Travalong VS Titan

Titan. I would bet the travalong is cracked out above the tailgate. But if you like slamming gates twice and hard go with the travalong.

    Dry Stalk Sudan

It's definitely not to late to plant a cover crop for grazing in wheat stubble. I planted an oat mix August 30 one year and got alotbof growth. All depends on the first hard freeze.

    Dry Stalk Sudan

Yes one year, I thought it lacked tonnage over there other varieties. And the 3 day dry down didn't happen.

    Dry Stalk Sudan

Don't know anything about "dry stalk". Star seed had something out that was to dry in 3-5 days, that don't happen. I went back to a straight sorghum Sudan or Sudan grass because the new BMR varieties take forever to dry down.

    Vermeer Rancher balers

Yes lighter duty, but still use many of same parts as bigger baler. Make a 5 x 5.5 instead of 5x6. Only require 70 hp. Weighs 2500 less than the 605N. Don't have wide pickup or big tires.

Anybody have or know of anybody that has a Vermeer 665 Rancher or the new 6650 Rancher balers. Looking at one and just wanting anybody's opinion. Right now I have a Hesston 565A. Really don't want to up grade but would like to have net wrap.

    Wet Distillers Grain

I have fed it for years. I have fed it to about every class of cattle. Make sure you know what the analysis is, what percent moisture and feed a balancer mineral and you will love it. The only people thats gonna tell you that it's bad is the competition. I store my on dirt with no retaining...

    Cattle oilers fly control

Didn't use long range but the ones who used it on both cows and calves are seeing awesome fly control and right now are 60 days out from date of injection. But I am told you have to use it on both cow and calf to get these results.

My dad has one also used it all day yesterday fixing fence because mine won't run then today his won't run. Frustrating. Any suggestions on...

    Diesel EGR Issue

Take it to an independent diesel shop, not a dealer. Remove it all.
