For the heck of it I clicked on to the classified horse section of this forum http://www.ranchers.net/classifieds.htm. I only read the first 5 ads. These horses were priced at $5000, $15000, $5000, $8500 and $8500. Gives me the impression that some people must be doing things different than others.

Man that would be so simple to train out of a horse. Its just a trust/respect issue. IMO that guy should really get some help with basic horsemanship.

Its in a large corral with its momma waiting for the owner to trailer them out of here. I cant really get close to it unless I roped it but the way its running around I would think its all better :-)

Why? The "real"horse industry in North America is stronger than in any other time in history. There is now way more money in horses than at any other time and its not because of Claude Boverie.

So with the shorthorn your getting better quality meat than with an angus? Im just a laymen but I honestly cant tell any difference between hereford or black angus as far as the quality of the meat. To me the both taste great.
