Soapweed Glad to hear everything is on the upside right now ! All the Best to you and your family. The pics all look great and i seen your old dodge bed pickup there I ended up putting a hydrabed on my 98 best investment I have made!
Thanks for the sound advice and all the best from our outfit...
I also appreciate learning what works for others and find it very interesting. In our case though we are not so lucky we received almost 2 weeks around the -40 to -50 weather last winter. With 2 and 3 ft of snow cover so the cows have to be fed somewhat around here . Dont get me wrong i would...
We run a larger purebred operation and we also run two newer JD 20 series front wheel assists and silage truck and and a payloader to load silage with for feedyard . We also own a bale processor and if you make nice nutrient rich hay such as we do running it through bale processor is the biggest...
Well after analyzing our overall input costs and operating cost ( diesel, labor, tractor hours) I have purchased a new Hydra bed and will have it installed on my work dually. I havent heard a bad thing about them.
We own a complete stampede system with hydraulic chute and the pivoting controls and it is twice the chute of the hi-hog the only brand i would probably replace it with would be silencer. Just my opinion after running many cattle of all sizes through it.
Put a motor in it and take the box off and put nice flatbed on it and you will fall in love the truck all over again and ITS YOURS! not the banks or ford credit!

Thanks for the input guys ! I have been leaning to the Hydra-Bed side all along and I have ran a dew- eze and a older hydra bed and liked the hydra bed much better . It will be most likely going on a 98 3500 cummins reg cab 4x4 as we have 3 other duallies for pulling to town and other jobs. If...
