Been a while since I've been on....other things going on that keep me "busy".... Been raining pretty regular around here....some tornados and heavy rains in the area but I've been spared. Have been getting "normal" rainfall since December, along with the mild weather it is looking like April...

Got 9/10ths....Still need more moisture to plant winter pasture....appears an inch of rain (24 days ago) penetrates to about 3 inches and lasts about 14 days in 95 to 105 degree temps before it's gone without a trace. If I had any moisture at all below the recent rain I'd be planting. Right...

Yep, herd is down to 40% of what I had going into 2009. Probably can hold those on the grass I have now till mid July. Don't know about holding into August or September.
