    NU - KSU predictions?

Those big 6 foot 6 280 pound qbs that everyone falls in love with don't make the transition to the NFL. Russel for the Raiders, Culpepper, and Leftwich for example.

    NU - KSU predictions?

That rivalry is officially dead. Things are starting to get back in order, NU is on the ups and K-State is in the basement. After the ash whupping Freeman took I bet he really regrets committing to the delightful kitty cats. It's a shame Ganz doesn't have a couple more years left.

Concerns on Canada's latest case of BSE

When Mexico is banning Canada cattle and we aren't that's pretty bad. Their new tourism slogam must be " Don't drink our water but eat our beef, IT'S NOT CANADIAN".

Percentage of American blood by volume

Since we cover your national defense you should send your oil down for nothing. If we are the POS that you Canucks think we are watch how fast Russia would annex you if the US wasn't here.

Percentage of American blood by volume

Denny you obiviously don't know the facts on the large percentage of the cattle in the US that are owned by R-Calfers. The NCBA might boast to have more members but they are all hat and no cattle. As a diversified cattlemen and farmer I do not support the NCBA and I do not support supsidisied...

The Sad Part of the "New Ranchers.Net"

I persnonally resent the name Nebrusky when I'm a born, bred, and living through the drought South Dakota cattlemen. You can label me as who you would like but if you don't like my opinion then don't read my posts. I'm contreversial I get it, but this is the world wide web and i'll be dipped in...

    Problems with co-op

WOW, I guess only a Kansas State student to be Captain obvious. I guess that's why my uncle only hires KSU grads to clean the combines between trips and to lick the dirty windows between dumps.

    BAD DAY!!!

This might be the most ignorant "cowboy statement" i've heard yet. If you've got to do that to AI a cow then you a stupid POS and I doubt through all that she would concieve anyway. Turn the bull out the next day and call it a AI success right. If thats cowboy ranching then I'm proud to say I'm...

    Gordon beef plant

Does that grant, or the relative proximity to the Pine Ridge Res. indicate to you that the people obviously wanting a source for kosher killed beef will simply use up the start up money and leave? Yes and if you study the history of this operation you will agree. I'm all for the killing of...

    Canadians Want Canadian M-COOL

I've come to the idea that canada has a good product overeall. The fact is that they have a considerably smaller product volume with a much higher BSE rate than the US does. The neat thing is that you have a very low amount of brood cows left and your high "dollar" is hurting your exports...

    Today's Additions

My cousins in Oklahoma breed black longhorn bulls to their black heifers and clame they get straight black calves. I concede this is a great way to breed heifers if you don't check them, which they don't. I've had calves born just that same color and corriente was the culprit. I'll always...

The Sad Part of the "New Ranchers.Net"

This used to be a regional marketplace but now the advertisements are not close or anything anyone needs, but usually a combination of both. Through the price of gas, diesel, and the price of the dollar we are more of a regional market than ever before. I am saddened at the way the buy and sell...

Rapid City Man Attacked by Mountain Lion

I guess that's the glory of living in a place where that can still happen. Everyone want's to live in nature but doesn't want the consequences that come with it.

    BAD DAY!!!

My fourwheeler has yet to do that. Granted I can't rope big calf off of it but i have tagged 20 "overzealous" cows calves from the pickup and given them their tag and 7 way shot and have never had a cow I couldn't get in with the 4 wheeler. Horses have their place on ruff terain and rodeos.

    Problems with co-op

Then you have it easy, I contracted 10% of my WW crop for $6 a bushel last November, I could get $10 now. The difference now has cost me $40,000. Not that $6 wheat is anything to scoff at.

    Gordon beef plant

This plant got hundreds of thousands of dollars in empowerment zone money through a federal grant to benefit the Pine Ridge Indian reservation. I imagine as soon as that money runs out the Rubaskins will close the plant anyway.

    $20 Wheat!!!

This is shaping up to be the 80's all over again. Thanks to the FTA's that this a whole president has signed we are now more than ever dependent on a world crop with $4.00 diesel. The shirt will hit the fan sooner than later.

    $20 Wheat!!!

Because spring wheat has better milling quality and more protein. I've got 1300 dryland acres of WW planted but it doesn't rain more that it has in the past 8 years it might as well be worth $100 a bushel. I'm on the southern edge of SW country, if WW doesn't make 40 bu/a then SW won't make 10...
