    Dogs

My 2 cents...there is good ones in all breeds and crosses. A lot is the luck of the draw of getting a real good one or cull a lot of mediocre ones to get a good one. Myself I go with Aussies, the Hangin Tree bloodlines as the main blood. Mite try Norm Andrews in Dwight, Ne or Randy Kidd in...

    Cotton has a sweet tooth

Haymaker, Cotton lookin pretty good. I had a mare that would eat the peaches off the ground and when there wasnt any on the ground she would go to the trunk of the tree and bump it real hard with her hip and make more fall. She'd spit the seed out when done eating the peach.

    Help! Dog whistles

I agree 100% on letting a dog think and work on its own. I give very few commands... most of the time, a flank command to start them out if I want them to go a certain way and a That'll do at the end. But I teach them many commands so if I need them in certain situations, I have them in my "tool...

    Help! Dog whistles

Not set in stone of what whistles to use for what but most probably use a long for down and a short for walk up. Flanks and others is what you can blow and makes sense to you. Of course more commands you have on your dog the more you got to come up with. Just for an example here is what I...

    Help! Dog whistles

Here is a site that I refer people to for blowing whistles...gives real good diagram of tongue position and all. Moving tip of your tongue up and down just the slightest varies the tone. Just takes a lot of practice to get consistent. http://www.wellscroft.com/farm/dogs/dogsWhistle.html

Thanks everyone. I don’t consider myself an artist…just someone that enjoys ‘playing’ with computers and combine with my limited artistic ability to do paintings. Your Welcome Soap, I enjoyed doing it. Hey, everyone…I don’t post much but read and look at everyone’s pics most everyday. If someone objects to painting any of their pics, please let me know.
