I can't speak for the cows around here...but the people that are working off in the woods are having a terrible time with chiggers and ticks. Maybe the cows know this and are tryin their best to avoid them LOL

That's not enough in my opinion to maintain weight. Down here (our winters are much milder) if we go the route of feeding range cubes it's 2 1/2-3 lbs. per head per day. After Calving until Grass 3-4 lbs. And this just maintains their weight...they don't gain on these amounts. I don't know what...

This is just my opinion...but if you take off the winter hair....slick her out for summer...she'd be a little lacking in the weight department. Especially bein's she'll be feeding a calf in another 3 months. I'd be trying to get a little more weight on her. Im not sayin she's skinny by any...

It's illegal to hunt deer and stuff that has a season, with a light at night in Texas. But hogs are a critter that's not native...and it's legal to hunt them anytime of the year...any time of the day or night. We've gone out and seen them in what we call herds of 50 plus hogs....all sizes.

We make special trips out at night with the spotlight and kill em. Haven't had a problem lately......but beins I typed that sentence....they will be back probably tonight LOL
