Wild colors of horses, some I had never seen

Have you ever seen a horse that's recovered from a really bad case of rain rot? I've seen several over the years that look like lightening on their rumps. The kind of lightenin that crackles thru the sky covering large area...not just one lightenin bolt. It's kinda neat looking...but knowin what...

Wild colors of horses, some I had never seen

Toilet Paper has a Bend or Spot on his left butt cheek. Then there's one color marking that I don't see on this page....similar to the bloody shoulder marking only it's on a sorrel horse....rear hip and down it's leg....looks like someone spilled bleach on him and he's kinda white. This is a...

    Turbo's first year (heeler pics)

He doesn't chew through his lead. Just other things that he shouldn't be chewin on if left off and out without anyone outside with him. There's horses here that he doesn't need to be botherin...as well as cows across the road. I'd just as soon keep him here at home on a lead than let him go...

    Turbo's first year (heeler pics)

That was Lil Lilly's doin.....since he's technically her dog. She'd just gotten her "Turbo Diesel" Dodge truck. So it was either Turbo....or Diesel. And we know quite a few people that have dogs and horses both named diesel. So Turbo it was. I would like to get a photo of her walkin to the...

    Turbo's first year (heeler pics)

Awww Boots is a good lookin dog. And he got to keep his tail!!! lol Turbo's litter was already docked when we went and looked at them the first time. Didn't have a choice with that. I've had heelers with and without tails. And honestly can't really tell a difference, if it affects them one way...

    Turbo's first year (heeler pics)

Man how he's grown!!!! This was day one.....he was about 8 weeks old. A lap dog.....gettin his nails filed....and a nap at the same time. The ornery is startin to appear at this stage....lol Sticks....one if his all time favorite pass times.... Mid summer....can you say...teenager...

    I hate texans (sometimes)

Well....I haven't seen any heelers born without tails. They don't usually get to keep them long because breeders dock em right away. And ya don't hafta be from Texas to know all that.....you just got hold of a 'good'n"

    Horse turns skittish

Horse are kinda like kids.....they don't come with instruction manuals.... But most of the time with patience and persistance you can work thru their problems. Or more accurately their "people" problems. Not every horse is the same...altho basic training works on them all.....some take longer...

    Horse turns skittish

My first advice would be to have an equine chiropractor check her out. The next would be to give her time to heal on the injury to her leg. Those kinda things take a long time. Not just the visible outside healing over. Sometimes the inside stuff takes up to a year or so to get right. Then of...

    Horse Trainer Stories

There's also a website called Trackmyhorse.com....but it only works if the owner pays a fee to join as well as a monthly fee, and then has to enter the information on the horse and keep it updated every race. The track my horse one is for Barrel horses. Really good concept...but I think it's a...
