    Post a Ranch Photo!

Probably not a true ranch photo, but they come every day to eat in the barn yard. The snow is so deep that they cannot forage so we feed them. They always walk in and fly out. Hope you enjoy the pics. Best to all.

    Post a Ranch Photo!

Loading some hay in the snow. Lots of people are running short of hay around here and I am almost out of hay as I have sold it all as of today - just have to load another 30 or so bales and we are done. Best to all, BC

    Post a Ranch Photo!

Howdy Folks! Been a long time. Just thought I would put up a pic of the lane to our house. For some reason the file did not want to load already open but if you click on it you can see the home place as you come up the lane way. Best to all, BC

Interesting comments on buying and not telling. I have one as well. A bull showed up here the other day and the trucker dropped it in the pen. I came home first. Wife came home second. I asked here where that bull came from. She said and I quote: "Oh, I was going to tell you about him...

    Ranch Mothers Day Picture 5-12-2013

You are putting me to shame - I took mine to the local cowboy restaurant for burgers - forgot my wallet and she paid! After 35 years of legal shack up time, I still can get her to pay for the meal and NOT get PO'd!! LOLOL. Best to all the Moms out there! BC

    Late March 2013

Great pics - but you can keep the lobster - have a hard time getting around the fact I am eating a bug. Just goes against my thought process! Best to all BC

    March in like a lamb.

We too are snowed in / snowed under / snowed out We have blown it, plowed it, bucketed it and anything else you can imagine. I have no room left to move any more snow - the next load will go into the basement at this rate. The barn roof is creaking with the last snow load I spent more than...

Tried to Cut my Thumb Off--Added a Pic--Almost Healed

Get a set of good medical scissors. Cut the bottom of the scrotum and pull the testicle down / slide the scrotum up. Clamp the cord with an emasculator and cut the cord (below the emasculator) with the scissors. Some folks just rough rub their way through the cord with a knife but I like to...

More pictures, as of May 21, 20009

About the three generations. One on the left is the type of young man every parent hopes the daughter brings home. One on the right is the type of gentleman every neighbour needs when they run out of ideas - those guys are a wealth of knowledge. Not too sure about the one in the middle! 8)...

    Finally spring!

Pencil it out and I bet the added fertilizer, negated manure spreading and less fence requirements bring the cost to less than feeders and some lost hay. We put out the bales, feed all the cattle and do not even bother to close gates or worry about fences once the snow comes - they will stay...

    Recent pictures...some kind of yucky

I am home on some leave and have been working a few head myself - so, it is nice to see pics of folks other than myself getting dirty! All in the day of a person who works with cattle. :D Have a good one. BC

Some old and new photos of Australia

Good looking gal, proud looking Mom, Brother I would not want to wrestle with, good crops, nice cattle, great scenery and Dad trucking the lot. Looks to me like you are a wealthy young lady - and I am not talking money or property assets - work hard, play harder and enjoy that life. Have a...

Warning: Graphic photographs--Not for the Squeamish

Fortunately it is a long way from the heart. Sorry for you but be happy it was not worse Now you resemble all the old guys I know! Pretty much all of them are missing a part somewhere. Best thoughts to you. Regards BC

The view from the cake pickup window.

I only wish one could drive a truck through the fields at home. There is close to 36 inches on the flat - even the horses are dragging their bellies in places. Nice pics BC

    Old Barns

Number 6 shows the pic of a crappy old cut stone barn. Ugly thing! Mind you - if it were on my property I would have to say it would be PERFECT!! Who is the lucky owner of this wonderful structure? B.C.
