    Moved w/ Update, Some Pics

Well done young man. Congratulations to you both. As for marketing, we've always found farmers markets and other public venues are the gateway drug to get people to know you, like your food products and trust you as "their farmer". Once you have that relationship you want to get them on email...

    Early January 2017

Great looking heifers Soap. Glad the cows sold good. The numbers keep showing a growing national cowherd in your country so I'm sure you'll make out alright on those heifers in time. Josh is pretty handy, that's quite the bbq rig.

    Rock Creek fire pictures

Rock Creek is our closest town North of the border. Chesaw, Washington is straight south of us about 15 miles. We're a 50 mile drive to Republic. Grand Forks and Christina Lake on our side of the border are ready to evacuate because the wind coming with this storm front is expected to blow...

    Rock Creek fire pictures

Well, I found time to post pictures. Neighbors combine almost got it. Stubble burned all around it but not up to it. Embers dropped in the middle of fields and burned in odd directions. Neighbors hay shed and some equipment that didn't make it Generator at their pivot, grass burned right up...

    Fall and Winter

Great pics of beautiful country and family, welcome to the forum. We did spray foam in an old train station we restored as a store, and loved the results. Amazing insulative value and acoustics for jam sessions!

Great looking pup. A farmyard doesn't seem to be right without kids and a pup or dog running around.

    Old Picture

Neat picture. Pinzgauers were sure heavy milkers from what I saw. Had friends in 4-H that raised them, always weaned soggy calves. Just usually were a bit sloppy over the topline, sheath and brisket.

    Photos from Southern BC

I figured there must have been something up. Ya the shag works good for winters, certainly is a weakness in the feedlot, always has been. The crosses work fine in confinement of course. They fatten real easy on grass so work well for the grass finished beef.
