My little sister got her hunter safety last winter, and today is the first time she's ever gone hunting. She hasn't even came along with us, as she used to live in town with mom before. So, I spent my opening day scouting for her, I got permission on 300 acres of posted alfalfa with lots of bush. I've bowhunted mule deer there when I was younger and know there are a few real pigs out there. I seen about a 130 5x5 out there yesterday. Hopefully he will bring his daddy and grandaddy. I bought her a doe tag too, just in case. Once you get the first one under your belt you can control the BUCK FEVER a little better! :lol:
I figure we'll sit in the truck on a hill in the back and glass until something moves, then I can get her to try spot and stalk! Way bigger adrenaline rush then sitting in a blind waiting. I can't sit still and quiet in a blind, thats why we're sitting in a heated truck with a radio! :lol: :wink:
