$2.00 a pound replacement heifers

Today at Hub City Livestock, a good customer of ours sold 70 head of Red Angus replacement heifers weighing 707 lbs and they got $1420 a piece for them. This is getting pretty fun watching everyone getting paid well for their calves. We thought we were going to get them when we got there today with the order we had, but we came about $30 a head short. Sure am glad for them!!!
