2011 Archery Mule Deer

Well, with one week left to fill my bow tag I went out this morning in some new pasture in hopes that there would be some mule deer. Moose have migrated south to our place and pushed all the mule deer out. Only two hours of hunting this morning and I finally found 3 of them, a doe and two big fawns. I sat on a rock pile and waited for them to bounce past me. 25 yards and the arrow went through the front shoulder popped a lung and sent her off on a dead run for posted land, buuuutt she didnt make it!

I can smell the sausage already..
