Peach is riding a saddle made by Harry Adams, Jr., when he had a shop in Valentine, Nebraska. He was a top saddle maker, and wrote a very comprehensive book about saddle making. It is available for $85.

Harry Adams died in 2001. Saddletramp made the trip to Wyoming for his funeral. Here is Harry's obituary:

Harry G. Adams
1950-2001
Harry G. "Sonny" Adams, 51, of Kilgore, Neb., died Dec. 26 at Bryant Hospital in Lincoln, Neb.
He was born May 11, 1950, in Rapid City, S.D., and had lived here since 1964 with residences also in Valentine, Neb., Kilgore, Neb.
Mr. Adams was owner of Adams' Saddlery.
He was the author of "Saddle Maker's Shop Manual," and was a regular writer for "Leathercrafters Journal."
Mr. Adams was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by two sons, Eric K. Adams, and Roy O. Adams, both of Cheyenne; three daughters, Betty M. Adams and Cora B. Adams, both of Orem, Utah, Iris L. Adams of San Jose, Calif.; a brother, Kevin Johnson of Douglas; three sisters, Joyce Sadowski, Loretta Cubba and Donna Hanson, all of Cheyenne; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Betty Adams.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Lincolnway Chapel with Bishop Jay Harnish conducting. Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Eric Adams, Kevin Johnson, Rich McIntosh, Wayne Sadowski, Randy McIntosh and Tim McIntosh.
Services are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
