The choices look to be expanding. Some I never knew existed, like Mahindra and Gravely. Exmark looks suspiciously like an Arctic Cat. Will probably stick with Polaris for a while.

Had the Boss' car serviced yesterday. The dealership is also a Polaris dealer. Must a been close to 30 Rangers alone there, not to mention plenty of quads & RAZR's. Any color, size, single or crew cab, fully enclosed or open, windshields or not , it was all there. Average price on the Rangers was 14 or so, with plenty well over that, and any below 14 were pretty basic. I mentioned to the salesman that it didn't seem right that the same dough would buy a pretty decent pickup. He mentioned that that fact had really helped them move their used pickup inventory.

Dad looked at new ranger at the farm show he was just at. The tie rod ends are about double what was on his machine. So must be a problem there more than a couple. He likes his kubota so far. Very nice air tight cab cold ac and good heater. Slooooooow as balls though. ;) I'm not sure they needed to put a brake on it when you let off gas you about hit the windshield. I sure like my Polaris maybe I'll look into some new tie rod ends make me feel better.

I look at it kind of like new pickups, let someone else pay the new price, I have bought both my ranger used low hour around 200hr. The last 900 I bought I traded off two well used 500 and $3600 for my new to me 900. Pretty good discount. They were only asking 10.500 for it. So the original guy took the deprecation. Now this is just my 2 cents and that is what it is worth. :)

Good to know there are some better Polaris tie rod ends from the factory now. You need this coast valve for the Kubota, http://www.orangeaftermarket.com/Coast-Valve-Kit-for-the-Kubota-RTV900-RTV1100-and-RTV1140_p_635.html . Save it from the nanny device stopping tork put on the driveline.

We got a nice used Ranger ATV for $6000 and we got a nice used Xterra for $6500, 2 vehicles for less than the price
of one new Ranger. We like them both and use them both. Actually the Xterra leaked dust as bad as the old Scout
but the body shop man in town fixed that for $40. Doors weren't as tight as they could have been.
