22 bullet shortage?

I asked at the store the other day about buying some 22 shells....none available :???:
is this just a USA issue or is there a shortage in Canada too?

Ouch!! We don't have a 17, but I don't think the ammo is all that high here. Ought to get one, cause at least you can find 17s.

Short supplies in Alberta, and we have the problem of too many gophers, so we line them up so we can get more than one with a shot.

We couldn't get .22 shells locally, couldn't even get on a list; but a friend
picked us up some easily at a gun store in Glendive, Mt.

375 cost $28.95--and I think the gun store was Gun's 'N Things. (Sales-Service-Repair).

$75 for 350 here or $12 for 50.....Farm and Ranch store is the only place remotely close to here that can even get their hands on em.....I have tried to order online to no avail!!!

Never thought I would see the day I could shoot a .243 or .30-30 cheaper than a .22!
