Yep-- same here-- and I really like them with the ranch name engraved on them... IF and thats a big IF we ever get some nice weather with sunshine I will take some pictures of the heifers we have with the tags in them and send you....

I was just thinking the other day when I made up some new tags for the registered heifers we bought at sales this fall that I need to order some more- and need to dig up the old paperwork so I can order some more just like the last ones...

Great tags- and I really like them with the ranch name/identity on them... And I've had better luck with Z tags staying in as any other- and I've used about every brand available since the 1960's....

I bought my first Z-Tags for the cow herd this fall to replace a few tags and for the bred heifers going in. We have used Z-Tag Feedlot tags in our calves for several years and they are great.

Camera will be put to use tommorow.

She can be vicious.....but only when Mr Lilly aggrivates her....she sounds and looks like she'd take his arm off....but the whole time her tails waggin. She absolutely loves to play like that. Hope Santa don't put a tag in her ear :shock:

I tried to send a picture in with my submission but it wouldn't go through. So we just sent it in without a picture. Don't know if if was a problem on our end or theirs.

We really like the tags. Never heard of this promotion before so hope to take advantage of it.

Just on a curious note has anybody dealt with z tags breaking at the neck. The back is still in the ear but the id part of it breaks off. This year it was really common maybe 8-10% of the tags in our cows. We really like the ease of the tags so will keep using them just wondering if it was common or just something unique to us this year.

i had to replace a few because of that this fall, but those that i replaced had been in those cows ears for about 10 years.

Kerry, I got tags from you last year and they are great! They havent faded at all in this old desert sun and they are easy to read with binoculars from a ways away. I give a happy recomendation for anybody looking for a good tag and tagging system. THANKS!!! I need to buy more cows before I'll need more tags! :wink: So let somebody who hasnt tried them have a bag. Thanks again!

I sent in a reply this year. Bought tags on my own last spring and did all calves with the Z-Tags. So far so good! Not a one lost at weaning!

I plan to gradually replace the cows with Z-tags.

I like 'em!

I submitted a story to you Kerry. I've been using allflex tags and am sure willing to give your z tags a try. It's sounds like the folks here sure like 'em.
