Here is a little tool that is kind of handy. It is used to undo an eartag from its button, saving the button. I bought it years ago
and have used it a lot. Even for taking out eartags that you don't plan to save, this little gadget works better than cutting them out.

I never thought of something like that - - - I usually get an exrta bag of buttons every few years and just use a new button on the original tag.
