Well husband called the guy tonight, asked him if it would be alright if a title search was done. The guy gave him the ok. So that will be done at our expense. Offered him a price, he didn't accept nor decline. Also offered us paying the closing cost and the cost of doing up the paperwork.
Now the ball is in his court and after the search hope everything works out.
