Here's one of those training halets for show calves-they really work well-ask Montana Cowgurl-as soon as the calf steps ahead they release all pressure.

They do work Nr, we now have a bunch of believers down here, don't know if it is good or bad, now they think they can wait till the last minute to break them and they can. :!:

Well we always did ours over the Easter break-that steer in the pic was tied up at noon and they led him into the barn at supper time. Ty's got a big Simm X steer that is going to be a bit of a challenge.

Well tell her do I have to send Ty down there to halter break it for her lol. If it's too big a job for a girl I'm sure he would lol.
I hadn't been around starting hrses yet when I was showing Steers. I happened to think about this the other day. One steer I had was a bugger. But I have had colts worse than him as far as spooky. It would be funny to see how I would do it different if I was to break a steer now.....
