[Northern Rancher]

Well the two day marathon is over and kids did pretty good at the District level. Ty and Sara both won the judging and Ty had reserve champion cow/calf pair. Megan had reserve champion yearling heifer in the younger age group. Megan also won the District achievement award which was kind of nice for her last 4H show. Our wee little steers got buried but that's kind of par for the course for my outfit lol. The sale was awesome averaging over $2/lb.

Hockey fans look up in the rafters-all those sweaters are pro players from Meadow Lake-actually have another rafter to fill yet lol.

Jeff Friesen-New Jersey devils, Len Esau-Maple Leafs and Oilers, Fred Sasakamoose-Chicago Black Hawks, Merlin Malinowski-Colorado Rockies, Michael Lay-15 years pro in Germany,Ron Greschner-New York Rangers-I think that's it but I could of missed some.
