Using your guys' opinions, I did finally chose the black baldie steer. He's the tamest one and also the biggest. He weighed 1020 on April 22nd. We need to weigh him again here real soon, once the corralls are dry enough to work in them again. He's so tame, I can just put the halter on him in the pen. He's only been worked with like 3 times. He's about half halterbroke, he's a big baby so he doesn't like to have his head pulled on. I've just been using a rope halter, haven't had to use the metal breaking halter of NR's. Here's one pic (kinda bad, I know, but my batteries were dying, lol) of him. Opinions please, be honest, I can take it, unlike others...  Oh, and any ideas for a name??

Hey Montana,
A little bit of Kelp in your steers feed will take that red right out of his coat. It's my secret weapon in the show ring :)

Jersey,
I like that name   his name might have somethin to do with that M&M :-)

Judith,
It's just old hair, should be shed out, washed out, or brushed out, if not, we just use the clippers at a long setting and trim those lil hairs off.
Thanks for the comments!!
