Fortunately I have never had a freak born on the place - although I did get a dwarf about 10 years ago - it finally got the same solution I would give to a freak - and a freak would only last as long as it took to find that solution:

My rifle in the back porch and a 30 cent bullet.

It does not do us any good to have this type of thing publicized and certainly I would not serve it up to any of you on a plate.

This is a reproductive mutation which occurs occasionally in nature. It is unfortunate, not only for the calf itself, but for the breeder, who should consider the occurrence as a financial loss at the outset of birth, and destroy the calf - certainly not exploit it - to the disgrace of the breeder! It is not the "fault" of the sire or dam, and neither should be considered at genetic jeopardy.

It takes all kinds of people to financially benefit from an unfortunate situation such as this.
