Just from the looks of "thangs", I'd say it was a fair sized boar bear.........

Don't ya just hate it when they do that????

We've an apple orchard nearby.....and they fill their belly over there...and come over here, thru my yard, to crap it out on their way back to the Nat'l Forest.

They messed my freshly poured concrete drive way right proper one nite last fall!!!

You just thought it was a bear. I have a confession to make. Sorry. I was trying to hold it till I got to your white living room rug. All the apples overcame me a few moments too soon.

Neil, those droppins look like some from some of these ole boar coons that hunt the creek bottoms around here..............good luck

Yup, everything gets bigger in Texas. Even the vermin come Super Sized.
Hope none of them buck racoons get into those peppers down by yer crik, Haymaker.
Could get a little rowdy.
A guy stole a big, old Alberta whitetail rack from a taxidermist up here a few years back. And stitched it onto one of those cute little Texas deer. Heck, they don't look much bigger than school yard jack rabbits.
Craziest thing you ever saw. He even got it published in a hunting magazine.
Then the Texas Rangers showed up when the owner of the horns spotted it.

Yeah, always amazes me what some of these so called hunters will do,I could post a week about the stories I heard and disputes I have settled,I guess one of the dumbest was one I read in the news paper awhile back, couple of them started fighting about the location of a deer feeder, one of em shot the other dead, always some sorta problem with some of them and then some are really nice folks.
I had one see me Saturday morning feeding some steers on the Hill country place,he said he shot a small pig that was in a bunch of hogs, and as soon as he shot that pig started squealing, when it did a bunch of big sows started tearing it to pieces.................I kinda believed that part, then he started telling me they came after him,and that is why I mistakenly believed there was a young army fighting along my creek,it was him shooting at hogs.
Kinda funny tho,the only pork he had was a tangled mess of bristles and inards.....................good luckhttp://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=texas+deer&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2
