A few years back, on a road trip to Deadwood, we stopped at Chugwater Wyoming. Most people would just drive on by. From the Freeway, It didn't look like much more than an overpass. There was a small town store with a museum next door. I'm sure glad we stopped, It was one of the highlights of the whole trip. I get a kick out of this old stuff, It reminds me of when I was young and knew everything.

These last two were taken elsewhere, but they are of the same vintage.

The thrasher was in Silver City, New NewMexico. The only one I've ever seen made of wood.

The Fresno, scrapers and ditcher, are at the Jarvie Ranch on the Green River in Browns Park,, North Western Colorado. Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch had a horse ranch near here in their "heyday."

We stopped at Aladdin WY. road past is beside it not through town. :D Those are the best stops.

Is that one of the first Big square balers in the corner?

Most everything beside a threshing machine is still kicking around this place. A few threshing machines still in this area. The odd one gets used for threshing bees. :D

I didn't really look at it while we were there. In the picture it looks bigger in size than a modern day small bale.

Save all that old stuff,,,put it in a museum or send it to me. It's disappearing too fast to suit me. :D :D
