A Couple of New Pics

Had a lady call this morning, that she had one of our steers in her yard.......actually, it's the bunch that FIL tends, but I told her I'd have Al saddle up and we'd come take care of it for her......

The cow (not steer) wasn't wild or anything, they just had to open the gate and let her go back where she apparently wanted to be, but guess they didn't think of that......

Back to the rest of the bunch, and happy to be there!

We were gone from the house less than an hour, and that included going by the PO and I got the mail, while Al went and made sure there weren't any of the others out on the highway, then stopping by and picking up a firewood permit for this weekend.

The cattle here are all over the place this time of the year. Get a little cold on their backs and they start lookin for home. We had about 20 head of our neighbours cattle and bull come 'live' with us for about a week before they toured on to somewhere else.
We didn't care as long as they stayed off my lawn. The dog did her best to keep the small herd out of the yard
I see they're back home now in their winter pasture :lol: . They are still suppost to be on the leases for another month :roll: .
