This year we had several hunters in but there are two of these men that have my deep respect and feel honored to have had them in my home and around my family. These two men have been from Afganistan to Iraq. They have been responding still to an attack on our country from years ago. One of them went in first response to the attack. He went again and is now to be deployed yet again in December. Three times he will be away from his family out on a mission that he strongly supports. He's been there, he's seen it, it effects his life, and yet he still believes in the cause. It's the most patriotic thing I have ever witnessed in my life. When he left he hugged each of us and said I'm not sure when I'll see you again but thank you. As my eyes watered up all I could wihsper is "No, thank you and good luck." All we did is welcome him in our home and let him shoot some deer it just seemed like he had nothing to be thanking us for and we had a ton to thank him for.
