We split this bunch in half before trying to sort heavies. It definitely made the job easier.

The first half were worked and the ones not going home were turned out. They can be seen in the distance.

The job went quite well.

Ignoring it doesn't mean it isn't your calf. :roll:

Maybe its face will turn black so she will think it is hers.

Okay, if someone else wants it, she decides she does, too.

From my rancher's viewpoint, I appreciate the properly placed pigment. :wink:

Our first calves won't be here till the 1st of April. Hopefully we won't be calving in the snow.

Sure like seeing pics of the grandkids. They sure are growing. Hoping to get out to see ours in a couple weeks. He's got a birthday coming up.

We thought our grandson was coming for a visit this weekend but he got a cold yesterday so is postponing for a week. His 3rd birthday is next Tuesday.

Almost. :wink:

So far we have had two cows calve that were bred to the Hereford bulls. From the two cows, three calves have arrived, so the set of baldy twins was a welcome surprise.

I wasn't sure you used those Hereford bulls but the baldie calves answered that question.
