I always enjoy your pictures of whatever you show us...critters, countryside, horses etc...just curious though...is there a reason to hobble and tie a horse? I figured one or the other would be enuff..

I have a few pics of that calf, I'm trying to get on the computer, so I can show ya what he looks like now........nice calf for sure, Al's thinking about taking him in 4-H next year.

I like that hackamore, too, FH. And fat horses sure beat skinny ones any day, in my book..... :wink:

Jassy, I'm not sure why Papa tied and hobbled Scooter that day......maybe being 80 years old has a few drawbacks, like he forgot he did one, and did the other, or maybe (and more likely in his case) didn't want to have to go chasing a 5 year old caballo all over the country when he got loose........... :lol:
