Took a few pics over the holiday weekend, and finally got them into photobucket, so thought I'd share with y'all!

A close-up of the longhorn I drew as a teenager.......the little boy in the picture to the right is my dad when he was about 5.

Some more pictures of Al's and my new-to-us home

The west end of the living room, Uncle Joe shot the deer back when dad was a kid

Another deer he shot, this one is in the dining room

The butane cook stove

A Sycamore tree I planted the seed for, back when I was a teenager, it's probably close to thirty years old........guess they take forever to grow.

From Thanksgiving at mom's

My sister watches Al carve the turkey (it was his first time, and he did ok!)

Image-1948.jpg

Old treddle sewing machine that will be mine someday, it was mom's dad's mother's machine.

Pics from the weekend

Image-1958.jpg

Little Dan, being his usual suspecious self, and not wanting to come see me

Image-1959.jpg

A very pregnant Miss Peach, she should foal about March or thereabouts, I think.

Image-1960.jpg

Little Dan finally came over to see what I had for him, when he found out that all I had was a pet, he got into the ice chest in the back of the pickup, and grabbed a sack of apples. He and Miss Peach then enjoyed the heck outta them. If I'd remembered they were there, I'da given the apples to them.

Ranchy great pics. My cook stove at my house is a replica of your wood stove. We have had it almost 20 years. Got it out of a place in Ark. Only difference in looks that I can see is where you put your pans on and ours has the electircal element and it also has a clock (timer) on top of stove.
We get complements on it every time someone visits our house. Been a good stove too.
Thought you been to my house at first and took pic of my stove LOL
If I can I get a pic of ours on here

Nice pictures, my g-ma sent her old wood cookstove home with my brother in texas...it hadn't been used for many years, but he thinks he can get it all cleaned up and working...we'll see.
