A few photos

Captured a few interesting photos over the last couple days. Thought I'd share them If you are interested, more can be viewed at my blog.

You know how black birds will attack a hawk? I happened to be outside, trying to get a photo of an approaching thunderstorm and witnessed a hawk getting attacked.

A Western King bird had babies in her nest inside an old shed in the yard here. One of her babies flew down and onto a window sill. The mother is trying to feed it a green worm or bug.

Here's a sunset shot taken last night o the way home from town. When Is saw the cattle on the hill like that I went from 65 to zero in about 3 seconds. Thought you'd appreciated this one.

Love the pics. I like that middle one, not every day you get to see a mama bird takin care of her young.
The sunset pic is good too. For some reason I haven't been gettin many sunset shots this year. Its either been cloudy and you see no sunset, or not a cloud in the sky. I think a few clouds add so much to a sunset.

The second picture: Are you sure that's a Western Kingbird? What does everyone else think? I always believed that Western Kingbirds have a yellow breast.

Anyone can stop and take a picture of cows on a hill, how many have got one of birds flying thru' the air, that clearly? :shock:
