a few pics (warning...40 some I think)

The barber shop in Plentywood has a fridge that some lady stocks with eggs and people just stop by leave their money in a jar and take their eggs. I don't know what the barber gets out of the deal. Maybe some eggs. :D :D

The third one looks a little........ well........... henpecked. :(

We enjoyed our chickens also, I just got tired of going to town for lay ration and eggs when they lived out their terms and we haven't had any for over 20 years.

Maybe??? :D Sounds like a handy thing for people who don't have chickens! I haven't ever sold any yet, but I have city folk my wife works with that want some. I may end up taking over the egg selling world... :D

I just heard of a neat story out in Colorado where a young girl helped there family through hard times by getting chickens and selling eggs. I think she was 9 maybe. I thought it was pretty neat.

Thanks! Hopefully if I ever get a higher powered camera, the pictures will be a lot better.

That hen hatched out and raised some babies for me last year...that's what kids will do to women....hahhahahahaah.... :D Jokin!!! :D Yep, the ol' rooster gets rough with them sometimes.

Yeah, that's the only bad thing...you have to have the lay ration on hand. My wife works nights as a nurse, so luckily she can grab some feed on the way home if needed. I do try and keep my feed expense down on them by doing all I can to have them eat other stuff. It's fun though.
