I really like the first bull. What is the plan for these bulls, if I may ask?

We will turn them out with cows about the 20th of May. There are both bulls for yearling heifers and bulls for cows in that pen. Their genetics are such that they are bred to do well on just grass or hay, with little or no protein supplements. They appear to have a shorter more old-fashioned look about them, but hopefully their offspring will still hit the scales pretty hard when they are sold next October and November. Time will tell. I will probably just use the bulls for one season and sell them in August, like I usually do. If I like the way they turn out, I will probably be on hand to buy some more of their little brothers at weaning time next October.

I like your bulls, Soapweed. And for what it's worth, I think you are on the right track using easy doing cattle as part of your selection process.

Now that pup of Scarletts is one handsome dude! But I had a hunch they would be. I sure wish I could have gotten one. What kind of dog is the sire? I can't recall exactly.
