Why do we trust those who created the problem to do anything different in trying to solve the problem - that would be an admission they did something wrong to begin wit! Hence, we are where we are on the deficit issue? So sad - - when we vote - make sure we vote on their record - not on their promises!

Those are very pertinent quotations from people with reputations of common sense and smart thinking. All of these in-tune-with-the-times folks have leanings of conservatism. Their sayings have risen to the top, like cream in a bucket of milk. Have you ever noticed that quotations reeking of Liberalism never "make it to the top"? And if they do, they never "stay on top." If the general population would study the history of the world, they would realize that socialism and communism are never successful in the long run. Without incentives and rewards, people quit working, and if no one works, no one eats. It's a simple concept, but there are a lot registered voters who haven't figured it out.
