Out on the meadow. With the late frost and lack of rain until recently it's gonna be interesting to see what kinda hay crop we end up with.

Those are some really great shots...I especially liked the one of the dogs trailing cows...and the lunch on the fence...I've seen stuff life that before, but never thought of it as a photo opportunity..now I will thanks to you...yur critters look good too..thanks
 
Thanks for sharing, you have a great eye for great shots. Ummm.... what the heck was that creature on the fence???? I don't believe we grow those up here. And the fish.... is that a sucker?

That is a sand lizard. Peach Blossom and I lived in a trailer house when we were first married. One night, I was reading in bed and saw movement out of the corner of my eye. Thinking it was a cricket, I moved aside the waste basket so better aim could be achieved with my book. It was surprising to see that the "cricket" was a sand lizard instead. The little critter didn't get to spend the night in the house, regardless. :-)

I always thought sucker-fish were a type of carp :???: :???:
