Soap, this ranching hobby sure does seem to give you some good subjects for your real job, photography!.

Soapweed! Those shots are amazing! I agree with Jigs, time for you to put up your photography shingle. Let Peaches and Cosmo run the ranch for a while :D

Very Beautiful Soapweed! Awesome shots. Thank you for sharin em with us. Such a neat place to spend an evenin, online...lookin at all your photos, and everyone elses too. Like a mini vacation ever night almost.

I have one question tho, with clouds like that.....I was wonderin if the wind was blowin like it looks like it should be by the movement of the clouds. Very seldom do we ever get "strung out" clouds here. They are always big white puffy clouds, or dark black rain clouds. (We could use some of them dark black ones for sure, it's gettin mighty dry)

Hee Hee, if you ask Cosmo and Peaches, they may say they already do.....

Hmmmm....But if Soap did put out a shingle......I am wondering what kind of personality quirks would come out...Would he start wearing Bermuda Shorts and look touristy???????Would he get confused and start mistaking a mule for a horse? Hmmmm.....Maybe some of it is in the works, LOL...

JUST KIDDING SOAP.....You are one of the most respected guys here and your phoo talents are just incredible,

Thanks for the compliments. We were on our way to town for a Stock Growers supper. My plan was for Peach Blossom to drive so I could take a little nap on the way. The sunset kept me occupied taking pictures, and every little ways I'd make her stop the car so I could take another picture. The last photo was taken while going down the highway at 65 miles per hour, with my window open, because she would no longer stop for any more pictures. :? :-) And I didn't end up getting a nap after all. :(

Actually the wind was fairly calm, but there was a controlled burn of a brush pile and old trees. It was fifty miles from our place, but the effect was a beautiful sunset from our vantage point.

You sure are at the right place at the right time for these fantastic sunset shots! I'm gonna have to try harder to schedule sunset time in my days..lol Thanks luv em!
