I remember back in the early 90s way before I'd used a computer I attended a talk by this older guy that was head of an agricultural college. He was raving about the future and the huge potential of the internet and in particular how it would be a great equalizer across the world. As soon as they got internet access (and power) into all the little tribal villages the bright kids there would be on an equal footing with the bright kids in the west. How disappointing his vision turned out - all I ever get from these folks is junk email offering viagra, porn and get rich quick schemes like NR got :roll:
