Here's a critter you don't see too often in the lower 48. Unless you're in western Montana, of course. Or did your service at Fairbanks.
Just got back from the House River, part way up the highway to Fort Mac. The grayling were pretty turned on that day.
I usually bring my yellow Lab Ginger when I'm in that kind of country for protection. But if she ever did spot a bear I'm not sure what happens next. 'Cause she can outrun me.

I've seen one or two of those before... Must have been in MOntana.. I think they were in Hylite resevoir if I remember rigt...
