A Friend's New Endeavor

It has an interesting flavor & works well in all vodka, rum, & tequila concoctions. Not bad straight up either. There are several unique recipes on his website.

The Master Distiller is also a Master Brewer that has won several national awards for his Beer & Ale. Just saying that because he's a perfectionist.

When you see it in the store, give it a try.............. Please?
Rye whiskey can refer to either of two types of whiskey:
1.American rye whiskey, which must be distilled from at least 51 percent rye;
2.Canadian whisky, which is often referred to (and labelled as) rye whisky for historical reasons, although it may or may not actually include any rye in its production process.

This would fall under "American Rye Whiskey"?

If it were available here I would sure give it a try. Don't suppose there is a way to get it sent up here?
Folks are telling me there is a shine available in liquor stores here now, but I haven't been in to see in quite some time. I feel fortunate when the closest convenience store / post office / gas station has Crown Royal in stock, and especially lucky when they have it in 60 pounder! :D

I appreciate the effort! I like to try new things. I got some of that shine today that has recently become available up here, but haven't tried it yet. It's from http://www.olesmokymoonshine.com/ but to be honest your friends endeavor looks more interesting, and would make a great gift and conversation piece as well. And if a person were to get some from batch #1 it might be something to hold onto.
