Take the quiz at the link below. Tell me how you score. Takes less than two minutes.

DISCLAIMER--I disagree with some of the underlying principles of the quiz, but not all of them.

I think you will be surprised.

I am a "centrist" on the conservative side.

And here I thought I was a liberal. At least that is what I am called by "factual" people on this site.

According to THIS POLL, I am a "centrist" with a slight leaning towards Libertarian.

~SH~

That's what one person's opinion said in a stupid internet quiz.

Whoopdi do!

DID YOU TAKE IT RANDY???

Obviously not or you probably wouldn't have opened your yap.

~SH~

Libertarian. Get off your ass and do it for yourself with less government.

Back at ya!

It's just a stupid survey right?

Communication error SH.

Mine said Libertarian.

Randy Believes "Get off your ass and do it for yourself with less government."

Whatever SH.

LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and
economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one
that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.
Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose
government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate
diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

That resembles me.

Question though? If we privatize retirement responsibilty, will we not also discourage dependence on the public system? Unemployment insurance and welfare should be present, but not be provided as a lifestyle. Maybe it should be a private insurance also. Why have equal rights been taken to a level where the most motivated and ambitious in society have been lowered to a level of mediocrity, through taxes and levels of beauracracy expense. Are we not just allowing for the erosion of the motivation and self starters that provide the economical basis for the economies and luxuries we now enjoy?

This is me, I had no doubt:

CONSERVATIVES tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently

support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional
values." They oppose excessive government control of business,

while endorsing government action to defend morality and the

traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong

military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market

economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

100% Libertarian! Thought i was a Republican but could not understand why Mr. Bush is such a poor president. Now i know.

I came up Centrist leaning toward the conservative side--- which is about what I've always considered myself........

Centrist
Centrists espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control

of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue,

they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes

support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on

keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and

emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

Centrist dead center

I would agree with this description of me but i think a few on here probably wouldn't
