Debbie is gone for a week taking her parents to doctor appointments in Williams Lake and Kamloops. Depending on her Dad's prognosis, she should be home on the weekend. She will also get a chance to visit 2 of her sisters.
Just me and the dogs to watch over the Ponderosa. I wish they could learn to cook and clean.
Off to feed the home cows, Lead guard ahead.
Fed. I hope to sort 50 head off the Morrison Meadow bunch to add to these today. We keep this herd at about 200 to fit the summer range at home.
Looks like another flurry on it's way. There should mountains over there.
Fresh bale for the heifer calves.
That feeder will need a bale tommorow.
An assortment of bull and steer calves, yearling bulls and an old crock that decided she couldn't exist on hay alone. Not sure if the grain will do much good either.
For H and Justin. Notice boys, I have CLASS. NO GOATS!!!
Maybe a break in the clouds?
Pied Piper, I gathered the MM bunch armed with only a JD 7400 and a bale without leaving to cab except to cut strings at the corrals.
Here they come.....
..... and there they go.
Except the ones I wanted to keep.
The sun came through a hole in the clouds about dark.
Pied Piper in reverse. The corrals are about 1/2 mile to the right of the stackyard in the background.
Thomas just knew there was a wolf around and wanted IN!
Could clear off and freeze tonight.
No Herefords, Highlands or Holsteins were disturbed in the making of this post.
