Here is possibly my favorite photo! This is my DD and her bottle calf. The calf was one of a set of twin heifers that a 2 year old heifer had, by herself, I might add. So this calf has been on the bottle from about her second day. We thought we'd find a mama for her, but it never happened. The calf is about 2 1/2 months old now, and probably looks as good or better than its twin that is on the cow. DD (she's 11) has fed this calf twice a day, every day since it was put on the bottle, other than a couple times when she was gone for the weekend. She never complained about it or had to be told. I am very impressed with her! She is building a herd, next year she will have 2 cows to calve and be breeding 2 heifers, since her 4H cow gave her a heifer this spring.

This photo was actually taken a couple weeks ago, when I was helping a friend move some cows. This was at the end of the trail, and I love this shot...

And here's a couple shots of the same mare today.... This was my first attempt at braiding her mane, and I think I did good. Now that I've got that down it is time to find some shows where I can put my new talent to use, lol.

This is Cearra, she is my 11 year old, QH x Hanoverian mare. I love her (except when I can't catch her...) She is a pretty talented girl, she loves to cut and work cows, or put her in the arena and show her some jumps and she loves that too.... Today she was in her go to town clothes...

Great pictures. I'm impressed with how well the horse's mane is in focus. Thats something I always have trouble with.
