A new year is upon us....

Hey, ranchers!! 2009 is almost here and was wondering how you all felt about 2008 and what (if anything) you would like to see different happen in 2009!!! Let's hear it!!!
I, for one, have made a resolution that 2009 will NOT be a repeat of 2008....I will be happy, my family will be healthy, I will focus on the positive of things and not so much on the bad and I will NOT hold onto the past!! Life moves on, folks, and with the support of so many wonderful people, 2009 is looking pretty danged good!! My boys and I have already decided that in 2009, every monday will be "SPAGHETTI MADNESS MONDAY" and we will play games that evening...NO TV....NO computer...just me, the boys, a pot of spaghetti and some board games to keep us company!! I will also re-focus on my studies for my advanced nursing degree (Good Lord, I have been at it for many years now...might as well get it done!!).
This is time for a fresh start....so, what sort of things do each of you have planned for the new year??? :wink: :wink:

I'm in with keeping positive. It is so much easier to make good decisions when the energy around you is positive. Other than that, no resolutions or restrictions for me. Just God, wife, kids and cows to be concerned with.

I had a great 2008 and I know 2009 will be just as or even better! My family is all healthy,,kid is doing great in school,,get a vacation or two,,,remodeling project is done and I like it,,,(thinking about doing more..lol) Only thing that would make it a faboulous year is if cattle prices skyrocketed! Happy New Year everyone!

p.s. kris...love the idea of you monday nite spaghetti feeds..sounds fun!

Jassy...the kids loved their first "official" spaghetti-madness-game-night here....had a few of their friends over and a HUGE pot of spaghetti and played rockband and then watched a few movies!! Yep...this is one tradition that we will be keeping!!
