A Smoky June

Sounds like it wasn't a arsonist that put the coals out after all. The man that did it sent a big long letter of apology to the local tribune last week. He said he thought the coals were cold.

Great news!!! We got around 3 inches of rain over the last two days.

WOW! That's great moisture. We've only had a few sprinkles here and lots of lightning & gusty winds. I finished baling 1st cutting yesterday morning, so I'm no longer torn between wishing the storms would pass by or really get with it. We ranchers are a crazy bunch. :o
