Dont reckon Im scared of getting bucked off in a fence,but Im still rubbin blue ointment on some scrapes and scratches from a bucking lesson a paint give me yesterday................gettin to long in the tooth for alot of that..................good luck

an bucked off into the fence...well...I let one get ahead of me and ended up on the wall of the round pen...with my elbow not bowing like it used to...again...

Haymaker, I like that gelding. He's really typy and gentle is a pretty color.
I sure appreciate a nice neck on a horse. Gives them balance and he has a nice neck. How's his headset?

'Sides that, I like a horse that packs his lunch (carries some belly) rather than those that get gaunted up and hound-gutted looking.

You go for it!!!!! Let us know how he is to ride and what you decide.
He looks fairly young. Maybe 7 or so?????

headset is good,I dont need a barnestrainer on this ole fat devil,dog gentle,neighbor lady bought a paint,that i volunteered to take the starch out of,damnned thing pitched me off and chased me outa the pen,had me thinkin bout those trainer deals..................good luck

I agree- I like the look of the old pony-- and as years go by I like the look of the "older, gentler" ones everyday.... I had my old 22 year old trimmed and shod up the other day- because I know he is bombproof..... If it happens it ain't gonna be because of him wanting to)- and my wife was having fits about me riding some of those younger horses out there alone-and I don't go playing teamroper out there on the prairie anymore---especially since the other day one of my neighbors, whos a little younger than me ended up in intensive care for weeks- and is now home convalescing from one of his blowing up- breaking almost every rib on one side, puncturing his lung, bruising his kidney, and cracking the ribs on the other side.....

I told the grandkids last year that he was "their horse"- but they told me it was OK for Grandpa to borrow him :wink:
